WHY WE LOVE IT

We love that these dilators were created by a sex therapist and gynaecologist, who better to design a product like this? The latex-free silicone rubber makes these dilators resilient, able to retain body heat and easy to care for. They have a texture that resembles body tissue (more natural feel). And you can use them chilled, at room temperature or warmed for your comfort. Plus they come in fun, beautiful colours because we know how sick of all things medical you are.

Safe, effective, premium vaginal dilators for women undergoing progressive dilation therapy.

  • Painful sex (dyspareunia)
  • Menopause (genitourinary syndrome of menopause, or gsm)
  • Cancer treatments (including chemotherapy and radiation therapy)
  • Chronic pain (vulvodynia)
  • Post-surgical vaginal swelling
  • Postpartum pain / sex post baby
  • Mullerian agenesis

How to use vaginal dilators

Soul Source silicone vaginal dilators were created for women undergoing progressive vaginal dilation therapy.

Most women will begin with the largest size silicone dilator that feels comfortable and gradually increase size over time. This allows you to gain confidence and helps to avoid painful intercourse.

Always consult with a qualified health pelvic health specialist before undertaking vaginal dilation therapy at home. Your healthcare provider will give you advice on the right dilator size for your body and how to safely use your dilator.

Soul Source dilators will naturally retain your body temperature, or they can be chilled in the refrigerator or warmed by holding under running water - whatever is most comfortable for you.

As these dilators are made of premium quality latex-free silicone rubber they are resilient and remain stable from -45.5 degrees to 171 degrees Celcius. But it goes without saying that you should be extra careful inserting anything that has been chilled or warmed into your body.

Quality control

For quality standards each dilator is inspected, washed and sealed before shipping.

How do I take care of my silicone dilator?

It’s super easy, simply wash your dilator with warm water and mild soap. Pat dry and allow to fully air dry before storing. We recommend that you store your silicone dilator by wrapping it in a clean cotton cloth and singing it a lullaby before you tuck it in for the night.

Never soak your dilators in alcohol or sterilising solutions containing alcohol. Soul Source dilators may be wiped with an alcohol-based solution, but be sure to rinse off any residue before storing.

You can also sterilise your dilator by boiling for 15 minutes or by autoclave. If you have a problem with yeast infections, you can try adding two tablespoons of vinegar to 2 litres of water for boiling.

What lubricant should I use with a silicone dilator?

Any water-based lubricant designed for sexual activity can be used with soul source dilators.

Do not use any silicone-based lubricant with the silicone dilators as it might affect the integrity of the dilator (not cool).
